AJK have worked together as a team of quantity surveyors and architects, on and off, for more than 25 years from their base in Hastings, East Sussex. AJK was formed nearly twenty years ago and has been particularly successful in attracting work from the public sector within the UK in addition to our extensive domestic and commercial portfolio. We pride ourselves on providing a personal, fast and economic service to all our clients. The combination of architects and quantity surveyors working closely together has been particularly successful in completing projects within budget. AJK have been Investors in People for 12 years. AJK Architects undertake projects including housing, conservation, health care, leisure, industrial, retail, DDA works and Grant works. In addition we have extensive experience in the education field, in both private and state school sectors. We welcome all enquiries and are happy to provide informal advice even if it does not lead to a commission. AJK Quantity Surveyors work hand in hand with our Architects, providing accurate and timely cost advice on all our projects, big and small. In addition we frequently act independently on non-AJK projects and welcome approaches to provide only Quantity Surveying Services. As well as being quantity surveyors and chartered architects, AJK have provided planning supervisor services since the original Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 came into effect. With the advent of the new 2007 regulations we are now providing CDM Co-ordinator services to a wide range of local authority and private sector clients. UK based clients include Boots Property, Brighton University, South East Hospitals NHS Trust, SEEDA and Hastings, East Sussex County Council.
